...WHY Do Good Gals Like Bad Guys?!

We’ve all heard that famous question, “Why do good gals like bad guys?” For me, however, it’s not a matter of liking a “bad boy”. It’s a matter of liking a little excitement every now & then! Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT referring to unhealthy/negative situations. I'm referring to a guy that keeps you excited about being with him! No girl wants a super boring significant other! Besides, being a spontaneous & adventurous person in general can go a LONG way! When I think of a gentleman, the FIRST man that comes to my mind is my FATHER! He’s God-fearing, educated, well-spoken, well-dressed, caring, funny, and GENUINE! Personally, I like gentlemen, NOT cornballs! There is a BIG difference! There is nothing wrong with being courted & treated like a lady, but when it seems to be OVER the top or not authentic, I’m easily turned OFF! So let’s compare the differences: [I’m being silly, but seriously, some of these are the truth!]

Gentleman:
Well-groomed/Swag/Aura on a TRILLION at ALL times
Open & close doors for you
Shows you just the RIGHT amount of affection when needed
Makes you feel special
Keeps you in your place/in line
Tells you the TRUTH about yourself
Listens to Maxwell/Frank Ocean/Ryan Leslie

Cornball NOT so Gentleman?!:
Well-groomed/TOO much cologne
Open & close doors for you AND rolls down your window for you! [As if you’re unable of rolling your OWN window down! UGH!]
Shows you affection when you least want OR need it!
Use over the top cheesy pickup lines in an attempt to make you feel special
Allows you to run OVER them! Double UGH!
Tells you what you want to hear
Listens to Marques Houston/Bobby Valentino/Trey Songz (Okay, I’m reaching, but the Z in his name has GOT to go! LOl!)

In the end, it's ALL about who you like & who makes YOU happy! [Cornball or not] I happen to be a firm believer that GOOD men DO exist, it's just about the RIGHT one for YOU!

[Okay, so I KNOW this was a weak ending to this particular blog post..But I got hungry & my creative juices weren't flowing as much..So with that being stated..Consider this blog post as "TO BE CONTINUED"!]

...However, any thoughts?!
