Good Evening, Charlie!
♪...Guess who's back UP in the building?! Mind on a M I L L I O N! ♪ ;)Hey Guys & Gals! Did you miss me? ;) So I'm pretty sure you guys already KNOW Miami was an absolute ALL OUT BALL! Now I know everybody & their Momma has traveled to Miami..But THIS time was completely different for me! I was SO busy being in the "NOW"/"The Moment"..I didn't have time to take as many pictures because I was fully engaged with having a GREAT time with my friends & enjoying myself! However, I was able to capture some of our daily adventures & YES! Some pictures were captured off my 1st generation iPhone! HEY! It STILL gets the job done! :p So without further ado...Here is a LITTLE taste of how I spent my A M A Z I N G vacation!
We stayed at Lords South Hotel...It was the cutest boutique style hotel...I fell inLOVE with this Cleopatra painting on the wall instantly!
And of course a "Spa Day" with the girls was SO necessary AND revitalizing!
I could literally look at this picture OVER & OVER again! Miami Days AND Nights are INCREDIBLE!

News Cafe is a MUST for all my breakfast lovers out there! I'm not really big on Breakfast..But according to Rachelle & Tanisha..The "Eggs Florentine" was simply delicious! Not to mention it's open 24 hours, which REALLY came in handy when we pulled "all-nighters"! :) WAIT! Another MUST for dinner is Prime One Twelve! Their food is absolutely delectable! Mmmh!

Speaking of childhood memories..Here are some of my FAVORITE children! Be certain that you will see these kiddies on a TV screen near you! These are our NEXT Presidents, CEO's, Governors, City & State Officials right HERE..I speak it into existence NOW!

4. Watch one your favorite childhood movies! ie. Harriet The Spy, Alladin, Hook, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Beauty & The Beast, Snow White, Little Rascals & etc.
Lastly..
5. Purchase some sidewalk chalk & Get it POPPING! LOl! I'm talking HEAVY stars, moons, hearts, AND even a good old fashion game of Hopscotch wouldn't hurt! Staying youthful & active is SO important! What other ideas can you guys think of?!
Sidenote: Today has been absolutely unexplainable AND wonderful! I ended up talking to one of my old friends from High School AND one from college! It felt SO good to come to some kind of closure & Get updated on what's new in each others lives! God works in mysterious ways AND fast might I add & I absolutely LOVE it!
It's funny how when you were younger you never had a care in the world! It's like nothing really mattered! You'd wake up..Brush your teeth/wash up..Eat breakfast..Get dressed..Go to school..Come home..Do homework..Play outside with your friends/toys & Then do it ALL over again the next day!
Over the weekend, one of my favorite childhood movies came on: MATILDA! I know I can't be the only one that loves that movie! Anyhow, I think it's good to get in touch with your inner child sometimes..So here's some ideas that I've came up with so far:

3. If you're in a relationship..Go for a walk with your significant other..BUT make sure you guys make it back in the house before the street lights come on! :p

I hope everyone reading this is having a GREAT Friday so far! It's Day 2 of my blog & I'm getting a LOT of positive feedback! My phone was going NUTS last night with commentary..I'm geeked UP! LOl! Special S/O to Rachelle, Brandon, & Tanisha for the personal internet plugs! So let me cut to the chase...My friends & I are thinking about starting our own book club! Our plan is to buy a different book every month, read it, & then discuss it over drinks!
This is something that we like to call "Cocktails & Conversations"! We usually get together on Sundays anyway for dinner & drinks & Have an ALL out ball..But now we are just going to add the book element in there. So with that being stated, we are in need of some good book recommendations...Now ya'll know I'm STILL stuck on Eckhart Tolle at the current moment..But we were thinking about a more FUNNY/COMEDY style book..We are silly gals & LOVE to laugh! More than likely, we will probably end up reading one of Chelsea Handler's books..But we are still open for suggestions!
So what's a good READ?! [And not to be funny..But please don't refer any Zane or Sista Soulja style books..We are most certainly OFF that!] Give us some Suze Orman..NY Times Best Seller situations! :)...JAM OF THE WEEK

...Angels On Earth
Clearly, you guys can see I have A LOT of things to share with you today! [That's what being OFF Twitter does to you & I don't like using FB for constant status updates! Yikes!]
Recently I was on my way to work & I stopped at a Coffee shop to pick up my morning beverage. I ended up waiting in line next to a woman that had this book in her hand. To make a long story short, I asked the lady what book she was reading?! [Now WAIT! Prior to this day, I had been researching different self-empowering books & etc. because I was ready to feed my mind some good literature] The lady then said, "The name of the book is "A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle!" I told her how I was on a quest to find a good book & in the middle of my sentence, she said, "You know what? You can HAVE it! I'm in seminary school & I have millions of books to read. Let this be my gift to you!" This kind act really brought tears to my eyes..I didn't actually shed a tear but I thought it was SO genuine & nice of her to just offer the book to me out of the kindness of her heart! I didn't even get a chance to get her name..But she is truly an Angel walking on THIS earth...
With that being stated, I want to highly recommend this book to YOU! This book is amazing!! Eckhart Tolle is phenomenal with giving you real life examples on how to live a better life, become a better person, and build a better world in the process! The book is about 300 pages long & I'm almost finished. I can honestly say I've already recognized behaviors/attitudes that I MUST change if I want better results with my life! Now it does dabble with different spiritual beliefs...However, Eckhart is only trying to display one message & that is how to find inner peace! IT IS A MUST READ & It also happens to be one of Oprah's Book Club Books! Go out & borrow/buy it TODAY!

...Modern Day Fairy Tale TRUE Story
Once upon a time there was a Girl trying to sort out & find her way in life. One day this Girl decided to remove herself from ALL social networks & change her telephone number! The Girl sent out 3 e-mails to the 3 most important people in her life (Besides her family) letting them know that she needed some time to find herself & that she would be contacting them as soon as she had reached some kind of peace. The 1st person was persistent & e-mailed her back to back asking if she was okay & etc. The 2nd person drove to the Girl's house to make sure she was okay. The 3rd person did absolutely NOTHING! The 3rd person didn't respond to the e-mail or even attempt to reach out to the Girl. However, the Girl STILL loves the 3rd person all the same...
Sometimes in life, people build up walls just to see who REALLY cares enough to break them down. A person can be in their darkest hour..But if you're TOO selfish OR self-absorbed into yourself to be there for someone who has always been there for you...Then there was never a TRUE friendship/relationship to begin with! The moral of the story is: "The ONLY people that you NEED in your life are the ones that prove that they NEED you in theirs!" Now with that quote, that doesn't mean that you become bitter or have hatred in your heart..Sometimes it's just best to love & pray for people from a distance. Other than that: Be a good person. Treat people better & LOVE yourself!
